District revenue officer Motilal said that officials can give information when only Public Information Officers PIOs and appellate officers of respective departments were aware of the Right to Information Act
Vikarabad: District revenue officer Motilal said that officials can give information when only Public Information Officers (PIOs) and appellate officers of respective departments were aware of the Right to Information Act.
He launched a two-day training programme on Right to Information Act for district officials and PIOs at collectorate here on Wednesday.
The training programme is being organised under the aegis of Dr Marri Channa Reddy Human Resource Development (MCRHRD).
Motilal said that people can get information from every department and added that penalty will be imposed on the officials who failing to provide information in stipulated time.
He advised officials to understand the act and see everyone should use best of the act.
MCHRD representative Bapuji and other staff were present.
