Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president K T Rama Rao on Monday said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is Ashok Chakravarthy and his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu is Nero Chakravarthy.

Addressing leaders and workers from different parties from Devarakadra who joined TRS at Telangana Bhavan, Rama Rao once again targeted Chandrababu Naidu. He said that while Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was taking up plantations like Ashok Chakravarthy, Chandrababu Naidu was copying the schemes of Telangana like Nero Chakravarthy.

He further alleged that Naidu always fought elections by aligning to one or the other parties. “During the Telangana agitation both Snakes- Rahul Gandhi and Mongoose Chandrababu joined hands,” Rama Rao said. He alleged that the TDP chief cannot survive without alliance with other parties.

Reacting to the call given by the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister to Telugus to defeat K Chandrashekar Rao, Rama Rao said that people of the State defeated Chandrababu during last elections and asked whether these voters are not Telugus. “Babu is care of address for conspiracies. While KCR formed his own party, Babu backstabbed his own father-in-law,” Rama Rao.

The TRS leader targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress stating that the country was not the ‘Jaagir’ of these two parties. He said that the TRS would win 16 seats and make the Centre bow down and develop the State. He said, “people expected Prime Minister Narendra Modi would do something for the country but he could not do anything to the country.

He gave a broomstick in the hands of the people and also troubled housewives with his note ban decision.” The Chief Minister urged the Prime Minister to provide national project status to Palamuru or Kaleshwaram projects, but the Prime Minister did not agree, he said. Modi copied Rythu Bandh scheme of the TRS government, he added.

Rama Rao said that the regional parties would play a crucial role at the Centre after the elections. If people ensure victory of the TRS, the party would strive to bring funds needed to the State.
