Though there have been many incidents that accidents happened due to manholes, the GHMC officials have turned a blind eye, the motorists alleged. They said they were many instances of people getting injured by hitting it.
The roadside shop owners also complained about it, but no action has taken as the road construction work in this road was still under process. The GHMC staff is not even taking any short-term measures to solve the problem.
