Precious water goes waste in 2 colonies

Parigi: with the onset of summer, many colonies start facing drinking water problems due to rise in demand for water. However, water is going down the drain in Baharpet and Nayakotivada colonies of the town as the officials failed to stop the supply.

It is learned that the officials might have forgotten to stop the supply after a certain period of time due to which the water is being released into drain. Locals are accusing municipal officials for turning a blind eye to the issue. They said the officials have failed to take measures to stop the menace.

MD Asif, a resident here, accused the officials for not resolving the issue and even after the matter was brought to their notice earlier.
