Osmania University: Demanding abolition of mess dues of Rs 14 crore and the government maintain free messes, representatives of Left Wing students’ unions on Thursday said that they would conduct a two-day ‘Maha Deeksha’ from March 22 at Arts College on the University premises. The other demands include fellowships to PG students (Rs 3,000), scholars (Rs 8,000); filling up of teaching and non-teaching posts. AISF leaders K Srinivas, Kranthiraj, Satya, PDSU leaders Gaddam Shyam, Ranjit, Rakesh, Harish and Vishnu, SFI leaders Murthi and Ravi were present.
