The buzz in the Film Nagar is that the loss of Sardaar could be anywhere between Rs 30- 40 crores. EROS which co-produced the film bought the Hindi theatrical rights for Rs 12 crore. It is said that the film was able to collect more than Rs 5 crore in Hindi and it is turning out to be a nightmare for the producers.

On the other hand, the Power Star in a recent interview is seen saying he is in deep financial crisis and accepted Sardaar for the sake of money.

The distributors who faced deep losses because of the film are preparing to put pressure on the producer to rescue them. Will Pawan compensate losses?
