Raai Laxmi shakes a leg with Chiru

The bombshell replaced the original choice Catherine Tresa for the specially conceived item number. Lawrence has flown in from Chennai to choreograph it.

In a sudden turn of events, Raai Laxmi has replaced Catherine Tresa to shake a leg in megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th film ‘Khaidi No 150’.
According to a source close to the unit, Catherine had a tiff with a key technician of the unit on her day one of the shoot and this didn’t go down well with Chiranjeevi who rates the technician very high.

Catherine who was paid close to Rs 30 lakh for the number was communicated that the unit was no longer interested in her participation and she had no option but to exit. Immediately, Raai Laxmi was approached and she was more than happy to oblige to the request.

However, a source close to Chiru has a different version, “Since the song’s setting and theme had changed, we felt that Laxmi would be more appropriate than Catherine and hence roped her in. Lawrence is choreographing the number which is currently being shot at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. The song would be wrapped on Sunday.”
