I auditioned thrice for Puri’s film: Aditi

Recalling how she bagged the project, the Delhi girl reveals - \'I had to audition for three times - performance, look test, diction, etc\'
She was crowned Miss India in 2015 but she continued to work as a Business Analyst in a corporate firm. Six months later, Aditi Arya had to quit her lucrative job and took to showbiz.
“It was an offer that was too good to resist, the film is directed by Puri Jagannadh, so I had to sign in on the project,” says the actress. She’s now keeping her fingers crossed on her debut film and October 21 release ‘Ism’.
Tipping the experience of working in a Tollywood is amazing, she spells out, “I’m thrilled to see the way I was welcomed here, the team guided me and I’m fortunate to have such a great unit. I’m very lucky to work with director Puri Jagannadh in my debut itself. He has his tasks so clear that it makes work easy even for debutants like me. I couldn’t have asked for a better launch.”
Recalling how she bagged the project, the Delhi girl reveals, “I had to audition for three times - performance, look test, diction, etc. In fact, the makers were on the lookout for an actress who can quickly come on board by learning the language. I’m pleased that I made it to the cut.”
Talking about her role, the actress shares, “I play a spoilt brat, independent and arrogant, but somewhere deep within myself I have a big heart. Its really cool to work with Kalyanram. I was very inspired to see his workout session for achieving six pack abs.”
The former model admits that her preparation for the pageant show helped get the required exposure. “My style quotient has gone up considerably; I realized how make-up artiste, hair dresser, etc can make you camera-friendly.”
