Seasoned star Balakrishna advised producers to cut costs, since budgets of Telugu films have gone over the roof.

“I told producer C Kalyan to finish my 102nd film in specific time frame so that we can keep budgets under control and cut down unnecessary expenditure,” says the actor after launching the trailer of Dr Rajasekhar’s upcoming film ‘PSV Garuda Vega’ a few days ago.

“Rajasekhar is like a brother to me and his brand has survived for years,” said the scion of Nandamuri family. Coming back to producer issue he adds “It is high time, producers reined in budgets since they have gone over the roof.

The charm of filmmaking is bound to be affected, if number of shooting days aren’t curtailed, to make filmmaking a viable business proposition,” he adds. The actor is known for his disciplined working style as he attends shooting in time and doesn’t like to waste a minute on the sets. The actor will be romancing Nayantara in his next film being directed by K S Ravikumar.
