RGV ropes in Keeravani for his spooky film?
After reaching great heights with ‘’Bahubali’ franchise, ace composer M M Keeravani has slowed down on work, but director RGV managed to convince him to compose music for his horror flick.
Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma has reportedly roped in ace composer M M Keeravani for his upcoming spooky film and asked him to come up with mellifluous music.
After reaching great heights with ‘’Bahubali’ franchise, ace composer M M Keeravani has slowed down on work, but director RGV managed to convince him to compose music for his horror flick.
Despite making loads of Telugu films, RGV didn’t get an opportunity to work with Keeravani for two decades. “Ït is true that director and composer are coming together for the first time and expectations are soaring high,” says a source, Interestingly, RGV who worked with top composers like Ilayaraja and A R Rahman, was waiting to work with ‘Criminal’ composer for quite some time, but it happened only now.
The source adds “Actually, RGV roped in Keeravani for his maiden horror flick ‘Rathri’ in 90's but the composer walked out in the last minute due to personal reasons. “So Keeravani showed interest to work with RGV for his soon-to-be launched horror film. Nevertheless, it would be an interesting combo to look out for,” the source concludes.
