Karimnagar: Task Force officials nabbed a person for cheating the public with a fake equipment for the last ten years in both Telugu states, by saying that the equipment will reduce their current bills.

According to Commissioner of Police V B Kamalasan Reddy, the accused, Mohammad Sikandar Ali (49), son of Mohammad Fathey Ali, resident of Cheppal Bazar in Hyderabad is an electrician. He cheated several people of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states by selling them the fake equipment and collected as much as Rs 50 lakhs till date.

After receiving complaints from Sunkari Durga Prasad, E Chandrashekar Reddy and Ponnam Suresh of Karimnagar, who was cheated for an amount of Rs 18,000 by Mohammad Sikandar, the task force police officials nabbed him at Karimnagar bus stand.

The Commissioner appreciated the Task Force team Assistant Sub-inspectors E Kiran, B Santhosh and P Nagaraju along with others for their efforts in nabbing Mohammad Sikandar Ali who was cheating the innocent people.
