Karimnagar: Joint-Collector Badri Srinivas paid tributes to the statue of Adi Kavi Valmiki at Valmiki Nagar of 17th division here on Thursday, marking Valmiki’s birth anniversary.

Speaking on the occasion, the J-C said that Adi Kavi was born as a common man and grown up to become the representative of God with firm determination and commitment.

Maharshi Valmiki through his epic Ramayana had illustrated that it is the service to the mankind that counts but not the self-esteem and wealth of the person.

Valmiki was a great sage, who spread the broad and great culture of India across the globe through his epic
Ramayana.

By observing the good from the book, one must adopt that in their life to serve the needy and poor to grow like a man with humanity.

District BC Welfare Officer Sarojana, Corporator Kasani Srinivas, Valmiki Sangham leaders Rajitha, Prasad, Dharam Singh, Tirupati, Ramkishan, Hari Kumar and Koduri Ramulu were present along with others.
