After overcoming the obstacles created by the State government in getting permission from High Court, the representatives of Telangana Vidyarthi Vedika (TVV) had organised its 5th State-level conference on a grand note here at a private function hall on Thursday.

Karimnagar: After overcoming the obstacles created by the State government in getting permission from High Court, the representatives of Telangana Vidyarthi Vedika (TVV) had organised its 5th State-level conference on a grand note here at a private function hall on Thursday.

The conference was held under the leadership of the TVV State president Mahesh. Attending as a chief guest at the conference, Prof Haragopal said the students studying in government schools and colleges are facing lot of hardships without basic facilities. He demanded the government implementation of KG to PG free education immediately in the State and to withdraw the decision of closure of government schools and introducing of bill of private universities.

He also demanded that the government should ban corporate education system in the State, lifting police stations in the universities and to provide free education and health to all the people. Certain resolutions were made during the conference, demanding the government to implement them as early as possible for the betterment of the government education sector in the interest of the students.

Prof Surepalli Sujatha had released the book ‘Shastriya Vidya Vidhanam’ written by Akula Bhumaiah on the occasion. Special invitees - TPF State president Nalamasa Krishna, DTF State president Raghu Shankar Reddy, TVV leaders Maddileti, Rajendra Prasad, Sandeep, Anil, Anudeep, Swathi, K Mahesh, Nazeer, Bhaskar, Kishore, Rahul, Suryudu and Chandu Lal were present along with students of various educational institutions.
