The IRCS Chairman Dr P Vijay Chander Reddy and the society State managing committee member E V Srinivas Rao told The Hans India here on Tuesday that they are planning to reach out to about 2,000 rural people in about 15 villages of Damera and Atmakur mandals with the camp.

The decision to organise the health camp had been taken during a meeting with the IRCS State vice president and principal secretary to Governor Haripreeth Singh and its general secretary and chief executive officer K Madan Mohan Rao in Hyderabad recently.

The IRCS State chapter had planned to organise similar camps in 11 other districts as well. Besides multi-specialty medical check-ups, the public will be given free medicines at such camps, they said. At a review meeting here, the Warangal rural District Collector M Haritha, DMHO Dr Venkata Ramana, IMA district president Dr Madishetty Sudeep and IRCS office bearers discussed the arrangements to be made for the camp.

Dr Chander Reddy said that efforts are on to inform the villagers about the health camp. Following the directions by Warangal rural District In-charge Collector M Haritha a preparatory meeting chaired by tahsildar D S Venkanna had been conducted at Damera at Atmakur MDO office on Monday. The local elected representatives and officials are asked to make efforts for the success of the health camp.

The IRCS managing committee members P Srinivas Rao, Ch Jayashree, INTACH convener Prof M Panduranga Rao, Power Grid Corporation general manager J Anjaneyulu, deputy manager Kiran Kumar, sarpanch K Sharada took part in the meeting.
