Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad on Thursday celebrated the 67th Independence Day of India in the campus.


Shahid, Vice Chancellor in charge in his speech after hoisting the tricolor, announced about University’s plan to establish a vocational training centre at Bidar (Karnataka).

A sprawling 23 acres of land has been allotted to MANUU for the purpose. Reminding the audience of great sacrifices made by the freedom stalwarts, he advised the youth to be optimistic. Later VC inaugurated tree plantation campaign by NSS at University Campus along with the Prof. S. M. Rahmatullah, Registrar.
