Hpcl Merit scholarships to Bvk Students
As many as 400 students of BVK DegreeCollege have been selected for merit scholarships being awarded by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), said the BVK College Correspondent Prof. Kandarpa Viswanath.
Hyderabad: As many as 400 students of BVK DegreeCollege have been selected for merit scholarships being awarded by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), said the BVK College Correspondent Prof. Kandarpa Viswanath.
HPCL alsogranted a huge amount of Rs 39 Lakh, to BVK College to improve its basic infrastructure like toilets, bath rooms, chairs, class room benches etc, said the Correspondent.
It is a mile stone and great record in the history of the College from its inception. This is said to be an evidence of high standards maintaining in BVK College, Viswanath said.
The scholarship is on the basis of merit of marks the student has secured in the final exams. The scholarships are being offered to SC, ST, OBC, Physically Challenged students whose parents’annual income is not exceeding Rs 2.5 lakh.
The Scholarships amount is ranging from Rs 4800-6500 will be given in 4 slabs. HPCL to remit the amount of scholarship into the students’bank accountsin the near future.
Prof. Viswanath appreciated efforts of HPCL management and support given to the college.
