Airtel 4G Hotspot Prepaid Plan presents 126 GB Data with a validity of 84 Days
The Airtel 4G access point is competing in the space where Vodafone Idea and Reliance Jio also offer access point devices for customers.
The fights in the telecom business are not just limited to offer the best prepaid and postpaid mobile plans. Day by day the consumption of 4G data increasing significantly, as users seek to gain connectivity on devices such as laptops and tablets on the go, access point devices are becoming more and more popular. Now Airtel is offering a new prepaid plan for users of the 4G access point, which gives data of 1.5GB per day which comes with a validity period of 84 days. That comes to a total of 126 GB of 4G data that you can use with this prepaid plan.
Last month Airtel announced a new rental plan of Rs. 399 per month for its Airtel Hotspot customers. Later this plan was replaced.
The Rs 499 postpaid plan comes with a validity of one month and offers 75 GB data. Unlike the prepaid plan, this plan has no daily limit and allows download of 75 GB at one time. Once exhausted, customers can make use of unlimited downloads, at a reduced speed of 80 kbps.
While both plans are available through the website, one has to pay Rs 1,500 for the 4G Hotspot device separately. The previous plan of Rs 399 offered data of 50 GB, and after exhausting the data, the speed would be reduced to 80 kbps. As for the two new plans presented, the prepaid plan is valid for 84 days and offers 1.5 GB per day, which means that users, within the validity period, can download data up to 126 GB. However, when the daily limit is exhausted, users can continue browsing at reduced speeds of 80 kbps.
The 4G access point device comes with a 1,500 mAh battery that can offer up to 6 hours of battery life and can connect up to 10 devices at the same time.
