Best laptops for less than Rs. 30,000
Nowadays you can find a good range of laptops for lesser than 30 K with large displays, good battery life, and worthy performance for unplanned workloads.
Lenovo IdeaPad 330-15IGM
The Lenovo Ideapad 330-151IGM is available online for approximately Rs. 25,000, you get an attractive laptop with a metallic finish for the keyboard area, which gives you a feeling of superior quality for this amount. However, it only has two USB ports, which is a bit restrictive, and there is no panel at the bottom to access the RAM or hard drive. The 15.6-inch screen only has an HD resolution, so the text and icons appear quite irregular. The viewing angles are also weak.
The laptop has an Intel Pentium Silver N5000 CPU, which gives a decent performance but is not as competitive as the other laptops. The webcam and the speakers are not very great. But the battery life is good since it lasted for 4 hours and 17 minutes in the Battery Eater Pro test.
HP Notebook 15-da0295tu
HP could not send its most apt laptop to perform tests for this comparison, but the Notebook 15-da0295tu has a decent set of specifications such as an Intel Pentium Silver N5000 CPU, 4GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive and a 15.6-inch high definition screen.
You get a good set of connectivity options, with three USB ports and a DVD writer. The laptop comes with a high definition webcam, which is good since most of the others stick to VGA. It is worth seeing an online price of approximately Rs. 26,000.
Lenovo Ideapad 330-15ARR
The Lenovo Ideapad 330-15ARR is an interesting laptop in this segment because it has the Ryzen 3 2200U AMD processor. This is still a first-generation Ryzen mobile chip, but there are not many of them in this price range with Windows 10, which is what makes this laptop worth considering at this price. It gets 4GB of DDR4 RAM, a 1TB hard drive, a 15.6 inch Full HD screen and dual Dolby Audio speakers.
You get two USB ports and a USB Type C port for connectivity, which is not easily found in this segment. The general package seems very interesting.
