Today, Realme has launched its new Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro smartphones in India. The company organised a press event in New Delhi, where it displayed the two smartphones. Unlike Realme X, which debuted first in China, India will be the first market to get Realme 5 smartphones. We know few details about the new Realme phones. However, valuable information, like prices and availability, announced at today's event. In addition to this, Realme may introduce the successor of his Realme Buds today.
Specifications of Realme 5, Realme 5 Pro
Realme has already released Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro featuring quad-camera setups. The Pro variant will be flaunting a 48-megapixel primary sensor, the primary sensor of Realme 5 is not yet confirmed. It is guessed to be a 16-megapixel shooter. Both phones are going to flaunt other three cameras including a 119-degree wide-angle lens, a 4cm focus Super Macro Lens, and a depth sensor for portrait images.
A 5,000mAh battery will power the Realme 5, but there is a word on the battery in the Pro model. It could be the same. Both the devices may be using Qualcomm chips and will come with Android 9 Pie onboard.
Realme 5, Realme 5 Pro Pricing and Pre-orders
As for now, the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro prices remain a secret. CEO Madhav Sheth has teased that Realme 5 will begin below Rs. 10,000. The company's official website has also revealed that Realme 5 pre-orders will start on August 21 and the Realme 5 Pro pre-orders will go live on August 28.
