2 thieves arrested in Hyderabad, booty worth Rs 27 lakh seized

The city police have arrested two thieves who committed the burglaries several places in Hyderabad. The policemen seized 73 tolas of gold, 66 tolas of silver, three bikes and Rs 86,500 cash from them.

The thieves committed burglaries under the police station limits of Jeedimetla, Pet Basheerbad, Alwal and IDA Bollaram. The arrested were also involved in several snatch chaining cases reported in the city.
In April 2019, the Central Crime Station along with Hayathnagar police nabbed two thieves and booty worth Rs 9 lakh was seized from them. The stolen booty included gold, gadgets, automobile and mobile phones.
