A three-day international snacks festival was inaugurated today at Ameerpet Metro station by HMRL Managing Director NVS Reddy along with Secretary, Tourism & Cultural Dept B Venkatesham.

Hyderabad: A three-day international snacks festival was inaugurated today at Ameerpet Metro station by HMRL Managing Director NVS Reddy along with Secretary, Tourism & Cultural Dept B Venkatesham.

The snacks festival is being held at Ameerpet, Hitec City, Uppal and MGBS stations for three days on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3 pm to 9 Pm.

Enthusiastic participants mostly women from seven countries and ten states are offering their homemade ethnic sweets during the festival.

Speaking on the occasion, NVS Reddy stated that many more such festivals reflecting the ethnic and cultural diversity of Hyderabad city will be organised.

While thanking the HMRL and L&TMRHL, Tourism Secretary Venkatesham stated that Telangana Tourism and Culture department would collaborate with Metro Rail authorities to make Metro stations hubs of activity.
