30-Day Action Plan will develop villages: Minister Allola Inderakaran Reddy
Nirmal: To keep everyone healthy and the development of villages, the government has introduced the 30-day Action Plan, said Forest and Environment Minister Allola Inderakaran Reddy addressing a Grama Sabha held at Chityalbori village under Nirmal mandal on Monday.
Participating as the chief guest, Reddy told people to maintain their surroundings clean and neat to avoid deceases, and develop green cover for the welfare of future generations. He wanted people to participate voluntarily to develop their respective villages.
He added that the Mission Bhageeratha and Kakatia will fulfill the requirement of drinking water and irrigation in villages. He added that the system of putting on and off the switches of the street lights has been set up with an estimated cost of Rs350 crore; funds have been transferred to the Electricity department, he said, adding that the curved, bended and rusted electric poles have been replaced with new ones.
For every village of the population of 500, according to the populations ratio Rs 8 lakh will be released for its development, to provide water for irrigation, check dams will be constructed on Swarna river. And three check dam have been constructed on the river he said.
For development of villages with 15 Economic Finance, employment guarantee funds will go ahead. On the occasion, minister reviewed the 30-day Actions Plan works, 25 dilapidated houses were identified and in that 8 were dismantlement, 3200 saplings were planted under Haritha Haram programme, 140 individual toilets, 25 public toilets constructed, according to the virasat, pattadar pass-books and Rythu Bhandhu will be given to the eligible farmers within a week, he said.
A bank linkage loans to 943 farmers will be given, Rythu Bheema for 15, Rythu Bandhu for 450 farmers will be provided, he said.
Earlier, villagers welcomed Reddy in a grand manner. He danced to the songs of Bathukamma at the villager panchayat office and distributed free Bathukamma sarees to the women and planted saplings at Zilla Parishad High school in the village.
