Kamareddy: Sumanth (20) of Gottimukkala village, Domakonda mandal, Kamareddy district, had allegedly sexually assaulted a seven-year-old girl of the same village on Wednesday.

A case was registered against Sumanth at Domakonda police station. The girl was taken to a government hospital for medical examination. District Superintendent of Police Lakshminarayana is monitoring the case.

According to locals, the rape took place two days ago.
