In yet another case of sexual exploitation, a nine-year-old girl was molested by her maternal uncle here under Rajendranagar police station limits. The incident came to light with the arrest of the miscreant on Friday.
Getting into details, the accused (22) sexually assaulted the girl on June 27 at the latter's home when her parents were out for some work. On the next day, the girl was taken to the doctor after she experienced stomach ache where she shared her ordeal with the doctor.
On learning the incident, the parents of the girl lodged a complaint with the Rajendranagar police. The accused was taken into custody and the case is underway, said CI Suresh.
