A host of leaders set to join BJP: Amit Shah
As predicted, a host of Telugu Desam leaders are set to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at a public meeting to be held at Exhibition Grounds in Hyderabad on Sunday (August 18), in the presence of Union Home Minister and BJP National President Amit Shah.

With the Rajya Sabha member Garikapati Mohan Rao, said to be a close associate of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, had already announced his decision of joining the BJP, a huge chunk of his followers including the head of Prataparudra Educational Institutions Dr Kambhampati Prathap are also making a beeline to Hyderabad on Sunday.
Dr Prathap, who is also known for his social service, said he is also joining the BJP attracted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's development model.
Meanwhile, TDP State general secretary E Mallesham along with SC Cell president Botla Srinivas, Jayashankar Bhupalpally district president Chada Raghunatha Reddy, Warangal West constituency in-charge Pulluru Ashok Kumar and a host of leaders have announced that they are also going to join the BJP on Sunday. Meanwhile, flexies stating TDP leaders' joining in BJP appeared all over the city on Saturday.
