A two-week training programme on ‘Robotic Process Automation (RPA-2019) inaugurated.Students told to put their heart and soul in learning automation technologies.

Warangal: Academic excellence and skill are two vital elements that play a crucial role in cracking the campus placements, the Principal of the Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science Warangal (KITSW) Prof K Ashoka Reddy said.

Inaugurating the two-week training programme on 'Robotic Process Automation (RPA-2019)' jointly organised by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), KITSW, and the Centre of Excellence (BOTLAB), CSE Department, Automation Anywhere University Inc, USA, he said that the programme was aimed at B Tech third year students to achieve placements in MNCs. He told the students to master professional and problem-solving skills, interacting abilities, communication and concepts of engineering domain knowledge.

"RPA, CISCO, IBM blue Prism, UIPATH and automation anywhere are the potential areas in latest software field and hence the students need to put their heart and soul in them. Automation is leading technology in the industry," Ashoka Reddy said.

Dr B Ramadevi, HoD, ECE said that the programme is a student-based technical platform to nurture young talent and enlighten them.

The students should follow five 'E' - Engage, Explore, Explain, Evaluate and Envision, she said. It's essential for the students to learn as much as they can during their internship, so that they can get industrial exposure which in turn earn them better placements. During the two-week programme, 150 B Tech (ECE) third year students will be trained, she said.

Prof V Shankar, Associate Professor S Nagaraju, Dr Dhanalaxmi, E Sushmitha, V Gauthami, SA Moeed, Prof G Raghotham Reddy, P Niranjan Reddy and PRO Dr D Prabhakara Chary were among others present.
