“Everyone should strive for achieving the aims and aspirations of Dr B R Ambedkar who is treated as a god by the poor and weaker sections,” said local Corporator Dodla Venkatesh Goud while garlanding his statue at P J R Nagar Crossroads to mark the 63rd anniversary.

Recalling Ambedkar's services to the country, he described the Constitution chief architect as the one known for his dedicated efforts to better the lot of the poor.
