The new flyover bridge from Ambedkar statue at Krishnagar Basti to Golnaka has been proposed by the state government

Amberpet: Residents of Krishnanagar Basti, along with local leaders of various political parties, met the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy and submitted a memorandum appealing him to persuade the state government to change the design of the proposed flyover which passes through the basti as they would be left homeless. The new flyover bridge from Ambedkar statue at Krishnagar Basti to Golnaka was proposed by the state government.

Residents lamented that the flyover would render them homeless and appealed the minister to see that the design of the bridge and change the design, which can divert it away from the colony. Responding to the appeal, Kishan Reddy said that he would discuss the issue with the officials concerned and take necessary measures to help them in this regard.
