The Andhra Pradesh government has extended its helping hand in training 4,000 police personnel from the 18,000. The selection of these will be announced in the next few days, said the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

The state could train around 14,000 police personnel at a time and the Andhra Pradesh government has agreed to provide training for remaining 4,000 men. The results of police recruitment tests are likely to be announced released on September 25.
