The Cycle Walkers Association president Janga Gopal Reddy demanded the government to take stringent action against those responsible for the attacks so that to prevent such incidents in the future. The government should focus on the safety of forest officers, who are trying their best to protect the greenery, thereby environment.

Referring to the attack on a woman FRO in Asifabad district, he said that unless the government comes forward to initiate stringent action against perpetrators, the attacks would continue on sincere officers. "It's shameful on part of the politicos, who back podu farming and encroachment of forest land. It's time for the government to focus on the issue that is degrading the environment," Reddy said.

Vana Seva Society general secretary G Naresh condemned the attack on forest officials who are involved in plantation drive under Haritha Haram programme. Shyamsunder of Jana Vignana Vedika held the government responsible for the attacks on forest officials. Cycle, Walkers Association members Ananth, Ram Babu, P Ramesh and Shekar Goud were among others present.
