MPP Burra Rekha Mahender Goud and ZPTC B Deva Dasu were the chief guests. HMTV anchor Jordar Sujatha enthralled people with her performance. She carried Bathukamma flowers along with others. Rekha explained the significance of the festival on the occasion.
The sarpanch expressed happiness over people coming together and celebrating the festival for the first time after the formation of Abdullapur mandal. Bingu Dasu Goud, Rajamani Suresh, Rani Nagesh, Srisailam, Nagesh, Shanur Babu, Yadamma, Sai Kumar, Balamani Venkaiah, Mounika Ramesh and others were present.
