Hyderabad: BJP Telangana State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that the saffron party will lead another liberation movement to free 'Mother Telangana' from the clutches of TRS chief and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao.

Addressing the public after hoisting the tricolour on the occasion of the 6th State Formation Day at the State party headquarters, here on Tuesday he said, "Another movement is needed on the lines of separate Telangana movement to protect democracy in the State." He said that his party will lead another movement to bury the dictatorial and selfish rule of KCR, to fulfill the aspirations of the Telangana martyrs and appealed to people to join hands with the party for the same.

He accused KCR of letting down all sections of people in the State who have voted reposing trust on TRS that it would fulfill the aspirations of the separate Telangana movement. However, the dreams of the martyrs of Telangana remained unrealised, he added.

Later, he paid floral tributes to Telangana martyrs memorial at Gun Park and said the separate state was created with the sacrifices made by hundreds of people who had participated in the statehood movement. The aim of separate Telangana is achieved, but, "Chief Minister KCR's government has failed to fulfill the promises made to the people in the last six years." Failing to fulfil the promises of providing a job to every household, filling the vacancies of one lakh jobs in the government remained unrealised dashing the hopes of thousands of unemployed youth of the State, he said.

Kumar said that the casual disposition of the State government towards 21 innocent students of Intermediate committing suicides exposes its commitment for the betterment of youth. He charged that while teachers and employees were let down, the health and education sectors in Telangana are in the doldrums.

He said there is not a single welfare scheme implemented in the State without the Centre's share in it. The BJP MP said KCR had brought Rythu Bandhu to the fore to mislead farmers to win elections. Now, the TRS chief is threatening farmers that they would not get benefits of Rythu Bandhu if they fail to cultivate crops mandated by the State government.

He said that it exposes gross negligence of the State government and motives of threatening to discontinue Rythu Bandhu. The Centre had provided Rs 125 crore to the State for conducting soil tests and the issue of soil health cards.

But, the TRS government had failed to implement it in the last four years. How is it asking the farmers to cultivate crops mandated by it without conducting soil tests, he asked.
