TSPSC was besieged by BJP leaders. BJYM leaders stormed the Telangana State Public Service Commission office demanding to fill the vacant posts in Telangana. Departed as a rally from the BJP office in Nampally. The leaders were then deployed in front of the TSPSC. Police intercepted them as they tried to go inside. The leaders were arrested.

It is learned that the Government had announced a few days ago that the vacant posts would be filled. The BJYM demanded that appointments to be made immediately. The BJYM leaders also demanded that the Government should implement this as the election promise, saying that it would provide unemployment benefits. It is learned that Chief Minister KCR has directed the officers to fill the vacancies in various departments across the state.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao Rao said that, along with the vacancies in the teaching field, even with the vacancies in state police would be notified as soon as possible. More than 50,000 government agencies across the state have been given the green signal to release the notifications in this regard. At the end, CM KCR directed CS Somesh Kumar to issue notifications to fill all the vacant posts in teachers, police and other departments.
