BSNL begins Aadhaar services in Warangal
With the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) authorising the State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to offer Aadhaar enrolment and updation services, the people now can register Aadhaar enrolment or update the details (date of birth, etc) of the existing ones and check status at the BSNL Customer Service Centres.
Warangal: With the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) authorising the State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to offer Aadhaar enrolment and updation services, the people now can register Aadhaar enrolment or update the details (date of birth, etc) of the existing ones and check status at the BSNL Customer Service Centres.
Inaugurating the facility at BSNL Bhavan, near Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal on Thursday, the BSNL Principal General Manager K Narender said that they have started the Aadhaar services across the erstwhile Warangal district. The BSNL Customer Service Centre at Parkal has already commenced on August 19.
Aadhar services will also start functioning shortly at all the BSNL customer Service Centres of Warangal SSA - Kesamudram, Kazipet, Girmajipeta, KTB-Hanamkonda, Mahabubabad, Dornakal, Jangaon, Narsampet, Mulugu, Cherial, Wardhannapet, Station Ghanpur, Thorrur, Bhupalpally, Kamalapur, and Dornakal.
New enrolment for Aadhaar card is done free of cost at the above BSNL Customer Service Centres and Rs 50 is being charged for other services such as address Update, photo/Biometric Update, Name/Gender/Date of Birth Update, Mobile/E-mail Update and Aadhar Download and Colour Print.
