Bus driver killed in mishap at Panthangi toll plaza
RTC bus driver died on the spot and another ten passengers were injured severely in a road accident occurred on Hyderabad-Vijayawada national highway near Panthagi toll plaza of Choutuppal mandal in Yadadri-Bhongir district in the early hours of Tuesday.

According to sources, APSRTC super luxury bus of Vijayawada depot heading towards Hyderabad from Vijayawada hit another vehicle at it's rear end at Panthangi toll plaza. The bus driver Srinivas Rao died on the spot and ten passengers in the bus got severe injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle fled from the spot in his vehicle soon after the accident.
On information, Choutuppal CI Venkateswarlu and SI Naveen Babu rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the hospital for treatment.
Police collected CCTV footage from the organisers of toll plaza to identify the vehicle responsible for the accident.
