Speaking on the occasion, Vittal Reddy said, "Everyone should celebrate the festival with joy and happiness." He requested everyone to use eco friendly idols and avoid idols made with Plaster of Paris.
Colony president Mohan Reddy, Secretary Rajesh, Temple chairman Narsi Reddy, Ramana Reddy, Jangayya Yadav, Rama Chandram, Madhusudhan Reddy, Narsimha Reddy, Venkat Reddy and colony members were present.
