Complete toilets construction before July 31: Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu

Asifabad: Strict action will be taken against those. who neglect construction of toilets, warned District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu.
Addressing a review meeting with MPDOs and Panchayat Raj secretaries at the Collector's conference hall in Asifabad on Tuesday, the Collector said the construction of toilets has been going on for years and not yet completed. He asked the panchayat raj secretaries to notify him if the officials are not doing their duty. Stating that if the district is not made open defecation free (ODF) by July 31 this year, strict action will be taken against the authorities, who failed to complete the construction.
The Collector directed the panchayat raj secretaries to ensure timely completion of construction of toilets in their villages. Panchayat raj secretaries and field assistants should push their daily target of ODF.
MPDOs were ordered to bring to his notice about those, who are absent from duty and also those, who are on leave. They were strictly told to complete the constructions of toilets by the end of July without any pending works. Panchayat raj secretaries were directed to enter the bank details of Aasara beneficiaries on the Aasara website within 10 days.
RDO Venkata Shailesh, APD Venkat, Ramakrishna, Swachh Bharat Prerak Sai and others were present at the review meeting.
