Congress stages cook and eat in Nizamabad,Kamareddy
Congress leaders and activists staged protests against the TRS government, in Nizamabad and Kamareddy districts on Wednesday.

Kamareddy district Women Congress president Jamuna Rathod criticised that the TRS government had failed to address the farmers' issues. Party activists, MPTC and ZPTC members, led by TPCC delegate Subhash Reddy, staged 'vanta varpu' or cook and eat on the road at Yellareddy mandal headquarters.
Subhash Reddy alleged that farmers didn't get Rythu Bandhu money even at the end of Kharif season and urea shortage is haunting the farmers. He demanded for loan waiver.
Congress leaders staged a dharna in front of RDO offices in Kamareddy and Nizamabad districts. The leaders submitted a memorandum to the district revenue officer demanding minimum support price for turmeric and red jowar. They also wanted to set up of turmeric board in Nizamabad.
