Cops investigate PDS rice smuggling in Mancherial
After 140 quintals of ration rice was seized at Umamaheswara rice mill on March 27, the police had intensified investigation on PDS rice smuggling following the orders of Ramagundam Commissioner of Police V Satyanarayana.
Mancherial: After 140 quintals of ration rice was seized at Umamaheswara rice mill on March 27, the police had intensified investigation on PDS rice smuggling following the orders of Ramagundam Commissioner of Police V Satyanarayana.
The police formed into two teams and Additional DCP (Administration) Ashok Kumar inquired the rice smuggling and inspected Stage 2 Peddapalli civil supply godown, in connection with illegal ration rice transportation case, where 140 quintal ration rice was seized at Umamaheshwra rice mill on March 27. The Additional DCP enquired the staff of the rice mill.
Additional DCP (Law and Order) Ravi Kumar, Task Force CI Sagar, CCS Inspector Srinivas Rao, NTPC sub-inspector Shankaraiah, CCS SI Kiran Kumar and others were present.
