Coronavirus Update in Telangana
Telangana recorded 298 fresh coronavirus positive cases and two deaths until 8 pm on Friday taking the total number of cases to 2,89,433 while the death toll to 1,563.
Telangana recorded 298 fresh coronavirus positive cases and two deaths until 8 pm on Friday taking the total number of cases to 2,89,433 while the death toll to 1,563. Meanwhile, the recovery cases went up to 2,83,048 with the recovery of 474 persons in the last 24 hours.
At present, there are 4,822 active cases out of which 2,614 are in home or institutional isolation.
Between Thursday and Friday, around 31,187 tests were conducted including 13,722 on primary contacts and 3,742 on secondary contacts. However, the results of 290 cases turned positive and the reports of 558 are pending.
The positive cases reported across the state include 61 from GHMC, 28 from Rangareddy, 25 from Medak, 16 from Karimnagar, 10 from Sangareddy, 9 each from Warangal Urban and Nizamabad, 8 each from Yadadri Bhongir, Warangal Urban, Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudem, 7 each from Nalgonda and Nirmal, 6 each from Mahabubnagar, Mahabubabad, Rajanna Sircilla and Siddipet, 5 each from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Vikarabad, Suryapet, 4 each from Adilabad, Jangaon, Kamareddy, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool and Mulugu, 3 from Komarambheem Asifabad and zero cases from Narayanpet.
