Disabled woman sexually assaulted in Mahabubabad

A disabled woman was abducted and sexually assaulted on Saturday night. It came to light on Sunday after the family members found her missing.

The woman who slept in front of her home at a village in Bayyaram along with her family was abducted by a miscreant. The accused took her to an isolated place and sexually assaulted her.

On Sunday, the family members found the woman lying unconscious at a deserted place. They also caught hold of the miscreant at the spot and thrashed him. He was handed over to the police.

Based on the complaint lodged by the family, the police registered a case.
