Dry run successful in Nalgonda

The dry run programme was organised by the Medical Health department as a part of the precautionary measure for administering the Covid-19 vaccine turned out to be a success in the district.
Nalgonda: The dry run programme was organised by the Medical Health department as a part of the precautionary measure for administering the Covid-19 vaccine turned out to be a success in the district. On Friday, a sample vaccination programme for 1,175 frontline warriors was conducted at 47 centres in the district.
District Collector Prashant Jeevan Patil inaugurated the dry run programme at the PHC Centre located at Panagal in Nalgonda.The Collector said that the programme was being conducted to overcome the shortcomings in the administration of the vaccine and to boost the confidence of the staff. Patil said that all the technical issues will be brought to the notice of government for necessary action. Three rooms have been set up in each centre, one room for people to sit and register their names online, second room for the vaccination and third room for keeping them under observation for half an hour after vaccination.
