Health Minister Eatala Rajender has stated that government will recognise the efforts of committed doctors and staff in the health department in combating Covid-19 spread in the state.
Hyderabad: Health Minister Eatala Rajender has stated that government will recognise the efforts of committed doctors and staff in the health department in combating Covid-19 spread in the state. However, those who are negligent will not be spared and they would have no role to play in the department in the near future, he warned. He was holding a video conference meeting with DMHOs of all districts on the Covid-19 situation in the state on Saturday.
The Minister said that CM K Chandrashekar Rao was reviewing the situation in the State on a daily basis and it is the duty of the department to work with full commitment and dedication. Senior officials and DMHOs briefed the minister on how the ground-level teams comprising Asha workers, ANMs etc are visiting every household and doing thermal scanning of families.
The minister told the DMHOs to be extra careful with pregnant women. Citing the instance of unfortunate death of a woman from Gadwal, he told the staff to ensure that the needy get timely medical help. Further, he instructed the officials to ensure more normal deliveries.
