EC appoints 5 poll observers for Palamuru MP constituencies
The Election Commission of India has appointed five persons as election observers for Nagarkurnool and Mahbubnagar constituencies to oversee the election process in the erstwhile Mahbubnagar district.
Mahbubnagar: The Election Commission of India has appointed five persons as election observers for Nagarkurnool and Mahbubnagar constituencies to oversee the election process in the erstwhile Mahbubnagar district.
For Nagarkurnool Parliamentary constituency, Dinesh Prasad, IAS has been appointed as Election Observer who will be overseeing the conduct of Lok Sabha elections in the district to be held in April next month.
Dinesh Prasad will serve in Nagarkurnool district as observer from March 25, 2019 until the Lok Sabha elections are completed.
He is housed at Mahatma Gandhi Kalwakurthy Lift Irrigation Guest House and he will be available to the voters and members of election contestants until the elections are over in the district.

"As per directions of Election Commission, I have been appointed and directed to oversee the conduct of Lok Sabha elections in Nagarkurnool. Our job is to see that the elections are held in a proper manner without any violations stipulated by the EC.
Any voter, contesting candidate or general public having any issues, problems or complaints can directly come to my officer or can contact me on my phone and convey their problems," said Dinesh Prasad.
Similarly, in Mahbubnagar district, four persons Sanjay Gupta IAS, Tusar Taba, IPS and Arvind P Bansod and Nitin Wapa both IRS have been appointed as General Observer, Police Observer and Expenditure Observers respectively for Mahbubnagar district.
"For Mahbubnagar constituency, the Election Commission has appointed four persons as observers who will be overseeing the election process, the security arrangements and will also keep an eye on the election expenditure.
These observers will thoroughly observe whether the political parties are following the election-related laws and acts properly or not, they are also available for advises and suggestions.
Anyone who finds any kind of election-related violations can directly lodge complaint with the observers," said Ronald Rose, District Collector, Mahbubnagar.
