Elect good leaders, Jeevan urges people
No recruitments, govt posts remain vacant, alleges Jeevan Reddy
Patanacheru: Former Minister and Congress candidate for the MLC Graduates' constituency seat Jeevan Reddy urged people to elect a leader who fights for public issues and strives to resolve their issues.
Speaking to the media at a hotel in Ramachandrapuram of Sangareddy district on Monday, Jeevan Reddy alleged that the ruling party TRS has been consistently destroying values of democracy.
Only when leaders who take up public issues and fight on their behalf were given an opportunity to serve the people, justice would prevail, he added.
He alleged that TRS government has failed to provide employment opportunities to the unemployed in the State, as lakhs of government posts remain vacant, he lamented.
Former deputy CM Damodara Rajanarsimha, former minister D Sridhar Babu, Sangareddy MLA T Jayaprakash Reddy, DCC president Nirmala Jayaprakash Reddy, former MP Suresh Shetkar, Congress candidate for Medak MP constituency Gali Anil Kumar and others were also present on the occasion.
