Energy Minister makes surprise visit to Pulichinthala project
Minister for Energy G Jagadish Reddy made sudden inspection of Pulichintala project in Chintalapalem mandal in Suryapet district on Friday.
Huzurnagar: Minister for Energy G Jagadish Reddy made sudden inspection of Pulichintala project in Chintalapalem mandal in Suryapet district on Friday.
Minister enquired with the officials concerned about the status of water release from the project and inspected the functioning of power plant.
Power plant Superintending Engineer Sadgun Kumar briefed the Minister about the power generation from the four units of plant.
As part of his visit, the Minister planted a sapling on the premises of the power plant.
Later, he participated in meetings held as part of 30-day action plan implementation at Revuru, Dondapadu and Ramapuram villages of Chintalapalem and Mellaheruvu mandals in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Jagadish Reddy called upon people to take active part in improving drainage system in their villages. He informed that government was committed for the development of villages in all aspects by providing sufficient funds.
The Minister was accompanied by party Huzurnagar constituency in-charge Shanampudi Saidi Reddy and others.
