Eruvaka Pournami fete on grand note
Villages are filled with decorative shops where farmers visited to to buy the require dgoods from the shops. Sarpanches from different areas participated in the festival and took blessings.
Jharasangham: "Eruvaka Pournami" was celebrated in Bardipur, Kuppa Nagar, Jhara Sangham, Devarampalli, Krishnapur, Machunur, Ellogoy, Siddapur areas. People celebrate this festival after the arrival of "Mrigasira Karthe" which is very special in farming related areas for the fall of rain. Farmers prepare sweets and keep as Naivedyam to cows.

'Eruvaka Pournami' celebrated grandly
Eruvaka Pournami' was held in villages on a grand note. Farmers decorated their bulls and painted their horns. They offered prayers and prasadams. They took out a rally in Peddemul, Yalal, Bashirabad and Tandur mandals. People of all ages celebrated the festival. MLC Mahender Reddy participated in the bullock cart rally.
