Everyone should have sense of humanity: Adilabad Collector D Divya
Everyone should have sense of humanity, neutrality and national sense, stated District Collector D Divya addressing a membership adoption programme at Teachers Training Centre in Adilabad on Wednesday.
Adilabad: Everyone should have sense of humanity, neutrality and national sense, stated District Collector D Divya addressing a membership adoption programme at Teachers Training Centre in Adilabad on Wednesday.
The Collector said that everyone should do service to fellow citizens, should cooperate during disasters and hazardous situations. The Red Cross Society was started with humanitarian sense and its members will help others in medical emergencies. Like them, all people should feel a responsibility and help others in their need, she added.
People should not think about getting awards but must help others voluntarily on humanitarian grounds. Junior youth committees are being set up to participate in service activities from school-level. These junior youth societies should be registered from the district to participate in government programmes with a sense of service to serve people, Collector Divya said.
District Education Officer Ravinder Reddy said that under the guidance of the Collector, both education and health departments are striving hard to make the district top in the list in these fields. The education department is ready to enrol students in the Red Cross Society in the same direction, he added.
Later the Collector visited Science Park and gave directions to the engineers concerned. School teachers, principals, education department staff, Red Cross Society members and others were present.
