Extend MMTS up to Janagaon: Bhongir MP
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Congress MP from Bhongir, on Friday urged South Central Railway (SCR) general manager (GM) Gajanan Mallya to extend the Multi-Modal Transport System (MMTS) up to Janagaon.
Hyderabad: Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Congress MP from Bhongir, on Friday urged South Central Railway (SCR) general manager (GM) Gajanan Mallya to extend the Multi-Modal Transport System (MMTS) up to Janagaon.
He met the GM at the latter's office in the Rail Nilayam here and brought to his notice about the pending projects in his constituency and requested him to resolve them as soon as possible. He urged the GM to take steps for halting some of the important trains at railway stations that fall in his constituency limits.
The MP asked Gajanan Mallya to take up doubling works on the Nadikudi route. Also, he urged the GM to extend the existing MMTS service till Yadagirigutta and Janagaon. The MP informed the GM about the necessity to build a railway road overbridge between Chityal and Siripuram railway stations.
