Fire engulfs TSRTC bus in Khammam, no casualties

A massive fire broke out from a TSRTC bus halted at Manuguru depot in Khammam late on Tuesday night. The depot staff alerted the fire tenders who rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

The front end of the express bus was completely gutted in the mishap.

Meanwhile, the depot officials and the police said that the mishap took place due to a short circuit. However, the depot staff launched an inquiry over the incident.

On November 2, a TSRTC bus crashed into a forest area in Mulugu of erstwhile Warangal district after the bus driver is said to have lost control over the vehicle. The bus with around 40 passengers inside was heading to Hanamkonda from Timmapeta.
